Dr. Edward Cohen currently serves as a Technical Consultant for AIMCAL. A specialist in the web coating process, his expertise includes coating and drying of thin films, coating process development and scale-up, polyester base development, film defect mechanisms, defect characterization techniques, litigation support, and professional development activities for scientists. Cohen has more than 45 years experience in coating research and manufacturing technology with the DuPont Company, retired as a DuPont Fellow, and as a consultant. He has published several books as well as articles for industry publications and was founding president of the International Society of Coating Science and Technology.
